Oklahoma vs Kansas State Live Radio Broadcast Online: Sooners Must Get it Together to Climb Back Up the Big 12
ByThe Oklahoma Sooners (11) need to get back on track when they host the Kansas State Wildcats (14), one of the three teams they trail in the Big 12.
If the College Football Playoff selection committee weighs strength of schedule, Kansas State has to be a dark horse to win the Big 12 and make the four-team playoff. A pre-season favorite, Oklahoma now finds themselves as dark horses as well.

Kansas State head football coach Bill Snyder knows how well Oklahoma plays his Wildcats, but he did not entertain the idea of a rivalry budding between the two teams. He said every game is too important.
"You only have 12 or maybe 13 opportunities to play our best out of 365 days," Snyder said ahead Saturday's game, according to ESPN. "You cannot go through and pick and choose what is important and what is not. They all count - every single one of them counts."
Still, at 2-0 in Big-12 play, Kansas State will get to play Oklahoma State (15) and Baylor (4), the two teams ahead of them in the conference, before the season is done. But lurking right behind the Wildcats are the Sooners, who dropped in the rankings thanks to a loss to conference foe TCU.
Oklahoma will get to play Baylor and Oklahoma State at home this season, giving them as much an opportunity to win out as they could hope for. After the TCU loss, Oklahoma beat Texas by closer margin than many expected, as their defense has been exposed when facing stronger offenses.
If Oklahoma wants to get back on track, they will need sophomore QB Trevor Knight to do so. Thus far, not only has he not lived up to the Heisman expectations set out for him, but he has been inconsistent and his struggles have come chiefly against Big-12 opponents.
