The Tigers from Baton Rouge are coming to Alabama to take on the Tigers from Auburn, capping off a huge day in SEC Land.

LSU (15) and Auburn (5) are the last of the SEC's four games Saturday involving at least one ranked team. With so many teams in action, the AP Top 25 poll is in for the shakeup it has yet to see this season, especially since the second-ranked Oregon Ducks already fell victim to an upset Thursday night.

It's hard to stick around in the SEC without playing at least one aspect of the game proficiently, and LSU has long had a proud defense and Auburn has run the ball relentlessly under coach Gus Malzahn. The result has been much of the same for both teams, as Auburn is averaging just a point more on offense while LSU is averaging three points allowed less on defense.

Though undefeated, Auburn has had some trouble on third down, a situation that typically calls for quarterback Nick Marshall to make a throw. LSU has had trouble with tougher opponents, winning a close game against Nebraska and losing to Mississippi State.

Auburn will be without one starting offensive lineman and two linebackers. LSU will need to aggressively try to stifle Auburn's running game and force Marshall to throw more than he is used to. His season high is 31 pass attempts, but other than that, he hasn't even reached 20.

But LSU's QB situation is far more uncertain, with a struggling Anthony Jennings losing his starting position to a freshman. Neither one makes for a good matchup on the road in an SEC matchup against a ranked foe.

With a nice 73 percent completion rate in 30 attempts this season, nine total touchdowns and just three interceptions, Brandon Harris will be under center to start the game. He may not be experienced, but it's an intriguing gamble.
