"Something's got to give at some point," Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze told reporters, according to the Associated Press. "At the end of the day it'll be about players making plays."
To go along with their consistently great defense for Alabama is a passing game putting up 335.8 yards per game, complimenting T.J. Yeldon and the running game. With Blake Sims under center, Alabama is scoring 42 points per game, though Ole Miss is surrendering just 8.5 points per game.
Right behind Alabama's passing offense has been Bo Wallace and the Rebels, who have been averaging 335.5 yards per game. Ole Miss is scheduled to visit Texas A&M next weekend, LSU in two weeks and will host Auburn and Mississippi State before the season is over.
"Having the kids they have makes their schemes even better," Freeze said. "I know coach Saban is getting out of his kids what he wants to, and they, under Lane, have changed a bit offensively that has made them more difficult to defend.
"At end of the day, it's not about Lane or Chris or Nick (Saban) or Hugh. It's about these kids who will have to win the battles."
