The Georgia Bulldogs (6) are a confident group heading into their matchup Saturday with the South Carolina Gamecocks (24), who are trying to stay on the AP's Top 25 ranking.

First and foremost in South Carolina's game plan is Todd Gurley, who ran for 198 yards and three scores on an astonishing 15 carries against Clemson. Averaging more than a first down per carry, Gurley is not even the only running back South Carolina needs to worry about.

Nick Chubb took the ball just four times, but still accumulated 70 yards and a touchdown in a game where Georgia ran 41 times for 328 yards. Senior quarterback Hutson Mason only threw 26 times, but completed 18 and did not turn the ball over.

Playing their third straight home game to start the season, the Gamecocks will need to avoid going 1-2 to stay in the top 25. A loss would also put them towards the bottom of the SEC East, a division in which Georgia seems poised to assert itself as the favorite.

Georgia has lost three of its last four games against South Carolina after ending a three-game skid last season. Georgia head football coach Mark Richt would like to turn that win into a streak.

"We've got our work cut out for us," Richt told reporters ahead of the game, according to ESPN. "We've got to perform better than we have in that venue, offensively especially. We're looking forward to the challenge of it."

South Carolina's defense has not looked very strong, despite playing twice at home, something they will have to change against Georgia. If they can stop Gurley and play with a lead, then Mason will have to step up.
