Winners of their first two games, the BYU Cougars (25) take on the Houston Cougars looking to move further up the AP Top 25 ranking.

While they currently occupy the 25th spot, BYU has looked impressive thus far, beating Connecticut and Texas on the road by a combined score of 76-17. Playing two games at home, Houston is 1-1, losing to UTSA and beating Grambling State.

Additionally, both teams will wear helmets with the American Flag incorporated in the logos.

Taysom Hill, BYU's junior quarterback, has been an offensive force so far this year, throwing for three touchdowns and running for five more. Hill has accumulated 685 yards through the air and on the ground.

"Ultimately, Taysom Hill is a phenomenal player," BYU head football coach Bronco Mendenhall said after the win over the Longhorns, according to ESPN. "He made a lot of great decisions, but there are just some sheer athleticism things that aren't coachable. He is just more poised than he was a year ago. He's better at leadership and the game is slowing down for him. His throwing the ball is more accurate."

Houston's offense exploded against Grambling for 47 points and 477 yards of offense, 20 first downs and just two turnovers. Allowing just 17 points in two road games, BYU's defense provides more than an adequate challenge.

"You put the film on, and offensively last year they went to the no-huddle and they were able to go up and down the field all season and put points on the board," Houston head football Tony Levine said in a pregame press conference.
