Apple Inc. on Tuesday unveiled its long-awaited smartwatch.

The Apple Watch -- which is the first product to be developed and introduced under Tim Cook's reign as Chief Executive Officer -- is a wearable device connected to the iPhone "that will combine health and fitness tracking with communications," Reuters reported.

The Apple Watch will be available in two sizes, one 38mm (small) and one 42mm (large).

"Apple Watch is the most personal device we've ever created," Cooks said at a launch event in Cupertino, Calif. "It's incredibly customizable so you can find one that reflects your personal style and taste. Because you wear it we invented new intimate ways to connect and communicate directly from your wrist and it works seamlessly with iPhone."
