Green Bay Packers vs Seattle Seahawks Live Stream Online: NFL Season Getting Underway With Thursday Night Matchup on NBC
ByThe college football season is already one week in, but the professionals are set to kick off the NFL season Thursday night with the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks.
The Seahawks are 15-1 at home in the last two seasons, though Thursday night's weather conditions are expected to be clear and cool, quite un-Seattle. Still, the Seahawks are coming off a Super Bowl win with mostly the same squad that trounced the Denver Broncos to take home the Lombardi Trophy.

"I think you have to be very impressed with their offense," Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy said ahead of the game, according to ESPN. "On Russell Wilson and their ability to stay in favorable down and distance and keep the mix of the run and the pass.
"They've always been outstanding running the football, but they look like they're a lot more balanced now."
Wilson may have lost Golden Tate to free agency and Sidney Rice to retirement, but Percy Harvin seems ready to play a full healthy season. Harvin missed most of last season with a hip injury after coming over in a trade, but the explosive receiver figures to be a valuable piece to the offense since he can return punts and even play out of the backfield.
The Packers are also benefitting from clean bills of health, most notably with Aaron Rodgers, one of the NFL's best quarterbacks. The Packers also enjoyed a breakout season from running back Eddie Lacy. With Rodgers under center and Lacy in the backfield, the Seahawks impressive defense will be tested constantly Thursday night.
However, part of the Seahawks' home-field advantage is the sheer noise their "12th Man" fan base generates, making it hard for the other team to organize their offense. Rodgers and the Packers will combat that with the no-huddle offense.
The Seahawks may be favored in the game, but an efficient no-huddle offense is hard to stop, so Richard Sherman and the Legion of Boom will need to disrupt Rodgers' rhythm.
