The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania topped the list of the 10 best American Business schools, according to a "College Factual" survey.

About 40 percent of the coursework is conducted outside the business school - giving the students hands-on experience in the field. And, about 30 percent of the students graduate with a double major, USA Today reports.

Besides the regular undergraduate and graduate programs, Wharton offers nine MOOCs - four of them introduce the MBA core, accounting, finance, marketing and operations management, and courses like gamification and the global business of sport. Overall, 875,000 students have been enrolled in the nine MOOCs.

"We would like to expand to other sections of the population," said Ezekiel Emanuel, Penn's vice-provost, Financial Times reports.

The U Penn Business School also features in the top 10 Supply Chain Management Schools.

Wharton is followed by the Bentley University. The management program at the Graduate School of Business provides students with the opportunity to specialize within four fields: entrepreneurship, global management, human resources management and leadership. Graduates have secured jobs at prominent companies like Oracle and Amazon.

According to Bloomberg Business 2014 "Best Undergraduate Business Schools" rankings, Bentley University listed at #20 in the country.

On the third position, the Haas School of Business offers a Bachelor of Science degree to undergraduates studying business administration at the University of California - Berkeley. Besides the school's highly commended graduate program, its proximity to Silicon Valley is a huge attractive point for business students.

"I have had amazing opportunities to work on projects and deliver them to clients that the professors have brought in - for a majority of my courses. These clients listen to our ideas and have plans to implement them, which is an experience I never thought I would have. I really appreciate being able to take concepts that I have learned and have a client then come to us, seeking for our advice and thoughts," a Haas School Business School graduate said, Business Week reports.
