Uruguay and England, who both started their World Cup campaigns with defeats, will face off on Thursday in a game that will decide their fate in the soccer tournament.
The former world champions are now Group D underdogs who have come into this match battle "beaten and bloodied" after losing their first games last weekend. Uruguay surprisingly lost to Costa Rica 1-3, and England was taken down by Italy 1-2, MLSsoccer.com reported.

For Uruguay and England, losing this game could signal the end of their World Cup campaign after just two matches.
According to the Associated Press, the match could boil down to "which team best targets Luis Saurez," Uruguay's striker.
Suarez missed the opening loss to Costa Rica Saturday due to a knee problem. He had surgery on his left knee after the Premier League season.
Since then he has declared himself fit and if he plays this game, his fellow teammates will be trying to feed him as many balls as possible. England, who is familiar with Suarez's goal-scoring abilities from the Premier League, "will be aiming to shut him down," the AP reported.
Although Uruguayan coach Oscar Tabarez is happy to have Suarez join the team again, he has lowered his expectations.
"In the case of whether Luis plays, there is a possibility that he won't be like the Luis Suarez that was the top goal scorer of the Premier League," Tabarez told the AP.
According to Weather.com , the city of Sao Paulo will reach the 90s and will be mostly cloudy.
The head referee will be Carlos Velasco Carballo. Two fellow Spaniards and an Iranian will serve as his three assistants.
