Sony Xperia News: Limited Edition OLED Phones in 2018; Xperia L1 Details, Xperia XZs on Sale April 4

Xperia OLED Phone 2018 Update
The OLED panel has become a trend this year but Sony saves the best for last. It's reported that the phone maker will release its OLED Xperia phone in 2018. Sony will be one step behind Samsung and Apple as both giants are gearing up for Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8 released with OLED panel technology on board this year.
A detailed report from Ubergizmo explained that Sony will focus the smartphone distribution in Japan, thus, selling the device in limited units. Whether or not Sony will consider a flexible phone screen - it remains to be seen.
The current Xperia Premium XZ is a camera-focused handset with 4K support and a wider range of color palette. Sony could adopt today's trend, with an OLED display, ultra-thin bezel, including a fast-charging battery as part of its 2018's flagship, SCMP reported.
Xperia XZs on Sale on April 4 in U.S, April 11 in India
Sony revealed Xperia XZs device at this year's MWC and it will be on sale April 4 in U.S. India's Flipkart and some of the country's offline stores announced pre-order schedule on April 11.
The premium handset packs a 5.2-inch Triluminus display with Snapdragon 820 chip powering the device. Sony offers Xperia XZs in two storage options, 32 and 64 GB that can expand up to 256 GB via MicroSD card. The handset features slow-motion recording up to 960 fps, Endgaget reported.
Xperia L1: Sony's Entry-level Smartphone
Sony introduced a less powerful handset, Xperia L1, with MediaTek MT6737T chip under the hood. The Nougat-based device packs a 2,620 mAh battery with 2 gigs of RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage.
There is no detail on the price point yet, but Xperia L1 will debut globally in Europe, US, Latin America, Middle East, Asia and Africa.
