Reports regarding Microsoft's upcoming hybrid laptop, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5, are piling up on the internet. This trend is seen by most tech fans as a good indication that the upcoming 2-in-1 tablet may be close to finally being launched.

The recent reports that's been making their way online is holding down the release of the new laptop to be in October, which makes the device in line with the tech giant's release process for its Surface Pro line.

As for the Microsoft Surface Pro 5's rumored specs, there are apparently a lot of changes will be made for the latest model, which will technically be the improvements to the failures of its predecessor, Game N' Guide reported.

The upcoming Surface Pro 5 is speculated to be launched with a much better battery performance, in which it would technically acknowledge the bigger unit and the efficiency of the latest-generation Intel Kaby Lake processor.

Despite consuming less power, the Kaby Lake processor is anticipated to provide a 15 to 20 percent increase over its Skylake counterpart, that performance is credited to a more optimized architecture, as well as the turbo boost and overboost functions.

As Intel just announced their new Kaby Lake processor, this could be a sign that the release of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 might be just around the corner. In spite of that, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 might also be pre-loaded with a 4k Ultra High Definition Panel screen. The Surface Pro 5 is also expected to feature a USB-C.

On the other hand, reports also swarmed the internet and revealed that the fourth-generation in the Surface-series, Microsoft Surface Pro 4, is currently on sale at the Microsoft store. Surface Pro 4 is being sold for just $749, from the original price of $899, according to iTech Post.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is packed with Intel m3 processor, 128 gigabyte storage, and 4 gigabyte of RAM.
