The last time the Kansas Jayhawks (6) and Oklahoma Sooners (3) played, the two teams were ranked first and second in the nation, the game went into three overtimes, three Kansas starters had at least 20 points, and Oklahoma guard Buddy Hield dropped 46.
It would wildly unfair to expect the rematch to live up to that game, which Kansas won 109-106, but "round two" - as both teams are calling it should - be entertaining nonetheless. Oklahoma can also take an important step toward ending Kansas' 11-year streak winning the Big 12 regular season title with a win.

Oklahoma and Kansas are tied atop the Big 12 with West Virginia, as Baylor and Texas sit just a game back. An Oklahoma win would split the two teams' season series and could potentially put the Sooners in sole possessions of first place if TCU can manage to upset West Virginia.
Oklahoma is also entering a critical stretch run with games against the aforementioned Big 12 contenders still on their schedule. Kansas is in a similar position, but is also trying to protect a regular season title streak that stretches back more than a decade.
