When observing a particularly massive Great White Shark from within a cage, a diver's primary concern is probably going to be keeping all body parts within the cage.

Mauricio Hoyos Padilla did not share that concern.

Padilla posted a clip of him reaching out of a protective cage to slap the fin of Deep Blue, a female Great White Shark estimated to be at least 50 years old. The shark does not seem to notice - or care - and continues to circle Padilla's cage.

Posted to his Facebook page, the video has more than three million views and counting.

But this is not the first we have seen of Deep Blue. She was originally featured on television during the Discovery Channel's "Shark Week" last August. Padilla accompanied a team trying to tag Deep Blue in order to further observe her.

In the Discovery Channel clip, the shark experts aboard the boat estimated the shark was more than 20 feet long, not much shorter than the vessel they were standing on. Padilla called Deep Blue the biggest shark he had "ever seen."

The narrator on the clip noted Deep Blue's belly was swollen due to pregnancy and scars on her flank either indicated mating or a fight.
