Princeton Review Top 10 Stone-Cold-Sober School: BYU Takes the Honor 17th Year in a Row
ByBrigham Young University (BYU) is once again opening up the sparkling cider and chocolate milk because they are now the most "Stone-Cold-Sober School" 17 years running.
The Princeton Review recently released its extensive survey of 379 schools and 130,000 students to generate dozens of top 20 lists. As is customary, the "most sober schools" list is made up mostly of religious institutions and military schools.
Like last year, and many years before, BYU received the honor proudly and posted a picture of chocolate milk on ice. According to the Huffington Post, BYU students even cheered when former Vice President Dick Cheney briefly mentioned the ranking in his commencement address in 2007.
BYU has shattered the previous "most sober" school's record, as Deep Springs College once held the title for five years in a row.
